Details: I am calling this a "parts car", but I have started it before. It has the usual 914 rust spots. I had intended to do a long term restoration project, but I doubt I will now have time.
The rust points are under the battery, passenger logintudinal and floorboards. I have started to cut it out in some areas, so the car is definitely not driveable (The interior is in boxes).
The car has the original 1.7 fuel injection. As I said before, it appears to function fine, but I think it may need a new set of FI points. This car was also converted to the side shifter configuration.
The car has a custom steel flare job that is pretty unique. It just adds a little room to the wheel wells and deletes the front turn signal posts (slant nose). It't not part of some fiberglass kit, it's welded steel.
Since it is not 100% original, this car would make a great racecar project. I question its value as a restored cruiser.
Car comes with a bunch of my 914 parts, including bumpers, fiberglass fronts and rears, spoilers, etc.
